Bombardier Centre
Location: La Pocatière, Quebec
Structural, electrical and mechanical engineering project for the design of a multi-purpose centre. The engineering challenge was designing electromechanical systems that would recover 100% of the power generated by the refrigeration system to heat domestic water, radiant floor heating, ventilation air in the arena and a few other areas. Complex structure owing to the configuration of the concrete bleachers and the fact that the building rests entirely on piers.
