Recreational tourism project
Location: Charlevoix RCM, Quebec
Feasibility study of setting up a large-scale experimental forest as part of a major recreational tourism development project in the heart of the inhabited Massif de Petite-Rivière-Saint-François forest. This innovative, sustainable and ecosystem-based forest management project was designed to deliver more environmental efficiency in activities associated with forest management, and the processing, distribution and use of wood products from the inhabited Massif forest. Six components of the technical and financial feasibility study were performed.
